What we believe - supporting scriptures (King James Version - KJV)

We stand on the Word of God.  The following scriptures support what we believe.

II Peter 1:20-21

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scrpture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 8:6

6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Ephesians 4:6

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

II Corinthians 5:19

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Joel 2:28

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

Colossians 2:9

9 For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Colossians 1:19

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell.

Hebrews 12:14

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

I Peter 1:15-16

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

James 5:14-15

14 Is any sick among you?  let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-17

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Matt 1:2-3

2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

3 And Judas begat Pharez and Zerah of Tamar; and Pharez begat Hezron; and Hezron begat Ram.

1 Timothy 3:16

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Acts 2:14

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words.

Acts 2:4

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
